Today we started English Camp. We have about 60 students and a great group. Everything has been going very smooth except for a lot of sickness. One of the American team guys has been pretty sick with a stomach flu that has now passed along to me. Just a really sick feeling all the team and also a few times visiting toilet but coming up dry, if you know what i mean.
The camp has a great feel to it and thats the most important part for me. You can just feel that everyone here wants to be here and wants to participate in the events going on. People are hanging out, talking and just having a great time.
Cory started out talking tonight about our theme, Shut up!. He is talking about communication is a important part of our life and we need to do three things, Listen, Think, Respond. Its simple and yet profound. The students seemed to really track with him and did a great job. The meeting was really good and lots of energy. I really look forward to these. After the meeting our small groups met for dinner and all the tables had a cup full of questions and fun assignements, like standing on chairs and singing songs that stuff like that. It was a huge success and I feel like all the groups are going really well.
Tomorrow I hope we will see a lot of the same as we move through the week, talk more about God and then lead up to sharing Christ with the studnets on Wednesday. If you think of it, pray for us!
