Thursday afternoon after attending the opening of the new mall in Tartu, I headed on a bus to Tallinn, then a ferry to Sweden that went all night and arrived Friday morning. It was pretty comfortable and the seas weren't too rough. The boat had a little sway but nothing too big. Then the group I am traveling with and I arrived to Stockholm and raced out of the city for a small castle\farm complex for the training seminar. I got to find out my role for the event in Estonia but I also got to hear more about the Leadership Summit and its value and blessing it is all over the world. I was very impressed by the team and the staff. They are all so humble and encouraging. Here are groups from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Norway. Tonight we gathered to sing, pray for each other and take communion. It was a really powerful moment for everyone. I came with very low expectations to the training, but half way through its been very good and worth the trip. Tomorrow we wrap up at lunch and then its back to Stockholm for another overnight ferry ride and then back to Tartu for a family lunch. I won't make it the Risttee service, but I will be there in spirit.
I didn't get to see Obamas speech, but McCain chooses a woman. That just cracks me up!
