Back to the keyboard

After taking a long time off from blogging I am back.

Whats been going on the last month. Let me catch you up.

Christmas was a blast. Oskar is now on board with Christmas. He really enjoyed the tree this year, he put all the decorations on and also he helped me to get it straight. Alex, well he is just over 1, so we was just happy to be there.

On the 23rd, Risttee had our Christmas service. We had hoped to have it on the 24th, but we had some scheduling problems and being kicked out of our old facility, made it difficult. The 23rd, however allowed us to have our service when no one else was, so we had about 130 people in attendance and a lot of families and young adults. We had a ton of kids and even ran out of Christmas presents for them all. We had our service at Atlantis, which is restaurant\conference center downtown and is known by everyone. The facility is very nice, modern and comes with coffee and tea. The choir sang at the conference, and we had more music, video and a great sermon from Peep. This was maybe his best talk in my opinion in a while. Not that others were not good, but sharing about hope on Christmas is something that seems easy, but when your in a room of people who don't know a thing about Jesus, its a challenge and Peep did a great job.

Okay, now our facility is no clearer now than it was the last time I wrote. We will continue to use Atlantis for Sunday mornings and are still waiting on a final word from one facility. We are negotiating with them trying to settle on the space, remodeling needs and financials. This process is taking a little longer because the group we are working with is a committee and committees are great at gathering information, presenting sides, but when it comes to making a decision is very very very long decision. We know that God has his hand in this, so we just have to be patient. Keep praying for us, and especially the youth because right now, we don't have a place for them on Fridays to gather and this is starting to raise the stress level on that team a little.

On a personal note, my sauna is now under construction again. I am trying to use the same timeline as Ohio highway construction. Seriously, I called in a special consultant in, Peep, to give me a little advice. I was pretty excited about my progress. I have a good idea of what I need to get done so we can finish it sometime in a few months, or even less if all goes well.

Now, we head into the New Year and what are going to be my resolutions...well check back in a little while and I will let you know.
